Bio

Anubis is an Egyptian/Greek style progressive metal band which was formed on Long Island, NY by vocalist Typhon and guitarist Anubis.

After a lifetime of playing instruments and studying music, this project was inspired by an interest in metal, fusion, and progressive music combined with an appreciation of Egyptian and Greek music, mythology, and themes. They also perform live in costume with dancers on stage and have opened for Suffocation, Deicide and Fear Factory to name a few.

Anubis is about to release their first six song ep entitled "The Forsaken Desert", and are planning to support it with extensive touring. Keep an eye out for them on the road as their performance is an audio and visual experience not to be missed
